Purpose

This blog is run entirely by law students at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.  It was organized by the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal (SELJ) and Sports and Entertainment Law Students Association (SELSA).

We hope that the Blog becomes your source of up-to-date news and analysis on sports and entertainment law.  Our goal is to bring as many different aspects of sports and entertainment law into one area, educating students and professionals on what is involved in the behind-the-scenes legal dealings that govern the sports and entertainment world.  We can’t do it without your input.  Legal debate demands that we look at each issue from several different perspectives, and the authors of this site hope you will provide yours.

In conjunction with several other initiatives that we are promoting at the College of Law, we hope to open up a new forum for academic discourse and analysis.
