The Arizona State Sports and Entertainment Law Journal will join Jurimetrics and Law Journal in at joint Orientation Session on July 28. 2012 at the Law School. It begins at 9:30am and ends 3:30pm. It will consist of:
- Professor Lecture on Note/Comments
- Video of Carrissa Hessick on Writing
- Westlaw Meeting on Journal Research
- Lexis Meeting on Journal Research
- Lunch (provided by Westlaw)
- Library Lecture on Research
At the conclusion of the 3:30pm (or the end of the last Lecture), we will have our first SELJ-specific meeting in a nearby room at the Law School. There, you will get to meet current Journal members, fill out some administrative paperwork, and learn about the direction of the Journal, our joint Fall Conference with SELSA, our Fall Publication, our Youtube Channel, and other relevant matters. We’ll also meet the New Members, and introduce everyone.
This meeting is mandatory, thus everyone is presumed to be attending unless you email directly ASAP. Its important we’re all there to create a level playing field among every Journal member from Day 1.
For current members, we’re meeting at 2:30pm to recap before we meet the new members.
